I am passionate about building violin family instruments.

It’s always a magical moment when a player chooses one of my instruments. Knowing that all the work and care that I put into each instrument I build finds resonance with a player.

I usually begin with an outline of a famous instrument, generally Guarneri or Stradivari. Then I let the wood guide me along in the build. I’m not trying to make an exact copy, rather channeling the ideas of the great makers.
